Basics of Beato:
Exploring ceramics
through the art and technique
of Beatrice Wood

This workshop introduces participants to the magic of
clay and invites them to create ceramics in the spirit of
artist Beatrice Wood. Students will explore both
functional and decorative ware, while experimenting
with hand building, wheel throwing, surface decoration
and glazing techniques, and firing. Includes
optional docent-led tour of

Ages 18 and over. Enrollment is limited to 12 and will be
processed in the order received. To guarantee a place in
the class, payment must be received in full at the time of
