Butterflies Alive! Through Sep. 25
Walk through a beautiful garden while nearly 1,000 live butterflies flutter
freely around you. The exhibit features a dazzling variety of butterflies,
from local favorites to exotic tropical species. Learn about the life cycle
and behavior of these spectacular invertebrates while observing them up
close. The exhibit is included in Museum admission.

Sunday Polo Through Oct. 30

Old Spanish Days Fiesta Aug. 3-7
Santa Barbara’s rich heritage comes alive during the first week in August
with the music, dance, and pageantry of Old Spanish Days Fiesta, the
granddaddy of city celebrations, reaching back to 1925. The 5-day party
opens with La Fiesta Pequeña — the little festival — on the steps of the
Old Mission Santa Barbara, with traditional flamenco and folklorico dance
performances. Viva la Fiesta!

The 31st Nite Moves - Swimming, Running & Biathlon events take place

About Concerts in the Park
Grab your friends & family, pack a picnic, and bring a chair or blanket to enjoy free concerts on the grassy knoll of Chase Palm Park and its Great Meadow Stage, located on Cabrillo Boulevard, along Santa Barbara’s beautiful waterfront. The free concerts are held every Thursday in July, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Alcohol is prohibited. Please leave pets at home, where they are happier.
