Santa Barbara Carriage Museum

The Saloon was renamed the "Senate Saloon"
after the first bar established in Santa Barbara.
The Saloon was located on the 500 block
of State Street, before the turn of the Century.
The newly constructed saloon at the Museum includes 
western saloon doors from a historic saloon in 
Montana (donated by John Mullins).  A mirror behind 
the bar naming the saloon, a one hundred year old sink 
used for ice, aged whiskey bottles from the 1930's
 prohibition period, bottle holders and storage cabinets.

"FAIR-y Tails come true" at the 23rd annual Santa Barbara Fair & Expo, April 25-29, 2012 at the Earl Warren Showgrounds. It's a happy place that will put a smile on your face! – Exciting Carnival Rides, Bewitching Fair Food and Enchanting Farm Animals are waiting for you!

The story begins in the Carnival Midway. With more than 30 rides and attractions, you will find yourself deeply entrenched in fun. Don't miss the Solar Powered Carousel, only at the Santa Barbara Fair & Expo!

Your children will think they are a part of a great new story as they ride on a real Pony and see the exotic animals in the Petting Zoo. The Kid's Carnival will excite and delight you and the children. You'll hoot with laughter at the All Alaskan Racing Pigs as they run around the track, jump the hurdles and compete for the honor of being the fastest little piggy in the land.

All of your Fair-y Tail dream will come true when you stop along the way to relax and enjoy some great entertainment on the "Jack & the Beanstalk Stage" and the"Humpty Dumpty Stage". Music, Dancing, Magic and more will keep you and your family entertained for hours!

Visit "Storybook Land" (Warren Hall) to see the expo showcase of local foods, wine & beer, arts & crafts, horticulture and fine arts displays. You will love tasting free samples of the featured desserts, appetizers and other scrumptious foods in the Fair & Expo Cooking Contest, offered daily at the Santa Barbara Fair & Expo, where FAIR-y Tails come true!.

Don't head for home until you take your family to visit "The Land of Make-Believe". (Exhibit Building) Here, you will enjoy the interactive displays. You will also be able to see artwork, photography, pottery and many other projects entered by children from our community. of suspense as tickets are randomly drawn and 
guests select works of art donated by local artists.

$300/ticket. Each ticket admits up to two people 
and entitles the ticket holder(s) to one work of art.

Growers' Association is hosting a day of
farm tours in the Carpinteria Valley on Saturday
April 14th between 11 am and 4 pm

The public is invited to come and learn about the local
flower industry and see the variety of crops
that are grown.
