Santa Barbara's local-favorite concert series is back for its 17th year

Concerts in the Park, the Parks and Recreation Department's popular free concert series, is back for 2016 with four great concert dates in July.
Concerts in the Park shows are free in Chase Palm Park from 6:00–8:30PM on Thursday evenings and have become a Santa Barbara tradition since the program was founded in 2000. Concert attendees bring blankets and picnics, with groups of friends joining in and dancing in front of the stage as the night progresses.

This season’s Concerts in the Park sponsors are the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians Foundation, the Wood-Claeyssens Foundation, Dennis and Jeff Forster of the Forster Group at Morgan Stanley, K-LITE 101.7, 99.9 KTYD, the Santa Barbara Independent, Voice Magazine, SB Family & Life Magazine, and the Blues Society.
