July 4th Symphony Concert at the Sunken Gardens




The West Coast Symphony Orchestra 
will present its annual free Fourth 
of July Concert in the historic 
Santa Barbara County Courthouse 
Sunken Gardens at 5pm Saturday, 
July 4th — a concert of traditional 
patriotic American music
Don't miss this free Fourth of July concert of inspiring 
and patriotic American orchestral masterpieces 
presented by the West Coast Symphony Orchestra 
at 5pm Saturday, July 4th in the historic Santa Barbara 
County Courthouse Sunken Gardens. The early 
performance will allow plenty of time for the audience 
to enjoy a post-concert dinner downtown and walk to 
the fireworks show off Santa Barbara Harbor. The 
West Coast Symphony Orchestra, under the direction 
of Founder/Conductor Christopher Story VI and 
Associate Conductor Dr. Michael Shasberger, will 
present a concert of American favorites* including 
Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man; music 
from the movie Lincoln by John Williams; Songs 
of America by Irving Berlin; This Land is Your 
Land; America The Beautifuland John Philip 
Sousa's Stars & Stripes Forever.
