Starting today, July 5th - A Roman Holiday

Celebrating a decade, the free summer cinema series at the Santa Barbara county courthouse sunken garden has solidified itself as a wildly popular tradition. 

screenings take place on Friday evenings in July and August in the iconic courthouse sunken garden at 8:30 p.m. the series is made possible by a collaboration between arts & lectures, the office of arts & culture & Santa Barbara county parks. 

guests may set out blankets and chairs anytime after 12 p.m. on movie nights. low-back chairs are welcome, as are non-synthetic blankets (to help keep the lawn lovely!) people are encouraged to bring jackets as it gets chilly at night. please keep in mind that the county is not responsible for any items left unattended on the lawn. we hope to see you there!
