My current garden is small and manageable by me.

My last garden was an acre and needed help from professionals.

I love, love, love gardening!

It must be my Dutch heritage.

Thanks for visiting my garden.  As Realtor I visit many gardens and as you can see my clients have often shared their plants and flowers with me. Four years ago when we moved here

there was nothing growing in this little plot.  My wonderful husband helped me create this bit of paradise as his legacy to me.  Whenever I dig in the dirt or look at my beautiful garden I think of him.

The Assistance League of Santa Barbara annually sponsors a Prom Closet for local High School Girls attending their High School Prom.  Come BORROW a beautiful dress!  There are hundreds of gorgeous dresses available in all sizes. All you need is your High School ID and a promise to return the dress after Prom.

The Prom Closet Boutique is already underway with the following dates and times remaining:
Wednesdays, April 24, and May 1 from 3-5 pm
Saturdays, April 27th and May 4th from 10 am to 2 pm.

Downtown Santa Barbara First Thursday, March 7

1^stThursday provides an opportunity to indulge in local culture, mingle with neighbors and participate in the artscommunity. Look for previews of forthcoming plays, symphony performances, concerts and dance productions, as well as local up-and-coming artists and performers.  

 

The program also offers visitors the chance to experience, in one evening, the diversity of Downtown Santa Barbara's visual and performing arts scene, and is aimed at developing a lively atmosphere downtown as well as showcasing the cultural variety that Santa Barbara has to offer.

 

The 1st Thursday Passport  is a printed guide to all of the 1^st Thursday attractions, available at participating galleries and venues, MTD shuttles, the Visitors' Center and hotel concierge desks.
